The food and drinks were excellent. The best part of this visit was our server (Laura). She zoned in on what type of Thai food we like and the recommendations she provided were spot on (delicious). Also, I ordered a drink (I tried the New Old Fashion), but it was a little sour for me. She tweaked it by adding some more syrup and the drink was amazing. Great service by Laura. THANKS!

First time coming here it was a hit, im a gluten free eater due to celiac and it was a great experience, great food great service. Then we had takeout today, found plastic in my gluten free noodles, my food wasnt labeled gluten free so my fiance had to taste test to figure out which meal was gluten free and which wasn't cause we ordered the same thing. Made a complaint online, haven't heard nothing, I dont think we'll be going back. Also uploading the plastic that was wrapped up in my food.

Basil Asian Bistro- you did it again! We had reservations for a Saturday night at 6:30pm. Our server was outstanding! He was patient very helpful with the menu as we had newcomers in our party. He knew the menu very well and could direct our experience based on our taste preferences. Drinks- Martini 🍸 and mojito were stellar. Appetizers- Salt and Pepper Calamari had the perfect crunch with a hint of spice. The Thai Dumplings were filled with flavor and tasted out of this world. Entrées- We had a party of four with a something ordered from every corner of the menu. Everyone had nothing but amazing things to say about the flavor and the overall texture and presentation of their food. I personally had the Vietnamese Pho and I cannot even describe how good the beef broth was with the two sauces they put on the side. Let’s just say, I am so glad I have leftovers to take home. A gem to have in Canton. Cheers!

I went into Basil Asian Bistro a bit skeptical—restaurants that serve multiple Asian cuisines can sometimes miss the mark—but this place genuinely surprised me in the best way. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the prices were shockingly affordable. I’m a Pad See Ew person, and I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw that dish priced at $10. Not only was it affordable, it was the best Pad See Ew I’ve had in a long time. It wasn’t overly salty and came with more vegetables than usual, which really helped balance out the meal. We also ordered the hot and sour soup. While it wasn’t the best version I’ve ever had, it was still good—just a bit heavier on the egg than I’m used to. One standout surprise was the fried eggplant from the Shareables section. I loved that it wasn’t drenched in sauce; instead, the sauce comes on the side, which lets the eggplant shine on its own. I also really appreciated that they offer brown rice as an option—a small detail, but a meaningful one if you’re looking for a more nutritious alternative.
